I ordered the Blue Ventus shaft because I had one on my Callaway AI Smoke driver and loved it. Unfortunately, the True Temper grip that is on it provides very little gripping power, especially with the humidity in South Carolina.
Needed a replacement shaft for one that had been broken in transit. Got a shaft in the right format (red) flex and weight. Only “problem” was that this beautiful shaft with a Ping adapter had a wonderful, new Taylor Made” grip installed. But I’ll get over it!
Relatively fair product price but $27 for shipping is ridiculous.
Absolutely love the shaft. I was running a 50g stiff and hit a 10 yard baby fade. Switch it to a 60g xxtra stiff now I'm hitting a 10 yard baby draw as a miss hit with an added 20 yards. It feels amazing down to be able to tell my club face is doing. Looking forward to see what it brings this season
Went out to the range yesterday testing out my new driver shaft. It was 30 degrees out, and I was still hitting my low stingers with a carry of 250 consistently. The most impressive was the 290 carry with just focusing on contact and not power. Seriously can't wait to see what it does on the course in warmer weather
